Webinar - Part 3: Building Performance Requirements - Qualifying for CMHC MLI Select

Hi Reader,

Fall is Here!

As previously promised, we are launching Part 3 of this 3-part webinar series on How to Qualify for CMHC Financing, and this part is about the financial requirements. If you missed parts 1 & 2, you can still watch the replay through the links below.

These days, one of the primary drivers (if not the only one) for new development projects, especially purpose-built rentals, is the financial incentives that CMHC programs provide for new projects. That is why we are hosting a series of webinars to provide more clarity and guidance on how to qualify for and benefit from these incentives, particularly the MLI Select Programs.

The qualification criteria have been a moving target for a while, with continuous updates to the point and credit structure, but what is clear is that, regardless of how the points are calculated, accessibility, energy efficiency, and affordability are the pillars of these programs.

Whether you're designing new or retrofitting existing buildings, this webinar will help you understand how to unlock premium financing and longer amortization terms through meaningful accessibility.

Thank you.

  2. How can CHMC-required energy modelling be leveraged as a design tool to optimize architecture, envelope, and mechanical systems upgrades?
